Duquette Quarter Horses is a family-owned and -operated horse facility dedicated to client success in the exciting sports of Reining and Reined Cow Horse. Duquette Quarter Horses offers a complete resource for clients of all levels. We train horse and rider for show ring success; offer expert guidance in buying and selling reiners and cow horses; and proudly provide a safe, friendly, professional atmosphere in which horses and riders reach their greatest potential.

About the owners: David Duquette began his training career nearly 20 years ago. He piloted This Cats Lucky to the Limited Open Championship and the Open Reserve Championship at the 2007 Northwest Reined Cow Horse Association/Caton Ranches Derby. Also in 2007, Dave and This Cats Lucky were the Magic Valley RCHA Ltd. Open Derby and Ltd. Open Hackamore Champions; achieved their AQHA ROM in Working Cow Horse; and qualified for the 2007 AQHA World Show in Jr Working Cow Horse. In 2006, Dave rode Pecas Playboy to the Ltd. Open Hackamore Championship at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, and was the MVRCHA Ltd. Open Futurity Champion on Honeys Smart Chic. He was Reserve Champion at the same show on This Cats Lucky. |
Dave has also coached numerous Non Pro riders to success in the show pen. Dave is an AQHA Professional Horseman and a member of the Oregon Reined Cow Horse Association Board of Directors.

Stephanie Duquette is the President of the Oregon Reined Cow Horse Association and an avid Non Pro competitor. She was the 2007 NWRCHA Pro-Am Futurity Non Pro Res. Champion on AP Miss N Memory, and in 2006, rode Pecas Playboy to the Region 1 AQHA Amateur Working Cow Horse Championship and several Non Pro Hackamore champion- and reserve championships. Stephanie has a professional background in broadcast journalism and public relations, and is a freelance contributor to several regional and national horse publications, as well as the reined cow horse web site www.DownTheFence.com. The Duquettes have two boys, a three-year-old and a seven-year-old. |
